So I have been wanting to stop using store-bought hair care. I have switched to a bar shampoo quite a bit ago, but I have had difficulty getting rid of the thick store-bought conditioners.
However, this conditioner is fantastic and one of the best natural conditioners I have tried! It definitely stands up next to store-bought conditioners (at least in my opinion).
Although the top is for foaming soap, this will not be foamy. In fact, you will probably think you didn't get anything more than extra water from your shower spray. It is super duper watery. I have long given up trying to put it in my hands and rub it in. You will need more than you think you do, just on account of its wateriness.
The best way to apply it is to hold your hair (slightly squeezed out) in one hand and spray with the other. Try to lightly spray the top of your head as well; this will help with fly-aways later. It will generally be okay if you rinse it out, but it works the best as a leave-in conditioner.
Your hair will feel smooth even when freshly dried and damp. This is the conditioner's best quality; your hair will feel great when you touch it, not the gritty or squeaky feeling you might get with other natural soaps.
It does help with knots, although you may still need a de-tangler if you are prone to knotty hair. Static will happen if you don't lightly spray all over your head (but I also live in the desert, so I would recommend you spot-check with you're area's humidity).
